Former military man starts Cavalry Brewing
When we heard the story behind Cavalry Brewing, we knew it would be a special thing to share. Cavalry was started by Mike McCreary, a retired vet who named the place after his military affiliations, specifically his team of soldiers. To add purpose to his goals, each beer had a special meaning to Mike, his first four beers were named after friends who had served with him, such as Nomad Stout and Big Wally Porter.
Unfortunately it appears as though Mike has since sold the place and a brewery has taken over, called Black Hog Brewing. You can read more about the closing here.
