Glad I stumbled upon this can at a Whole Foods one random night, although I wasn't thrilled with the prices they're charging for cans these days so I try to avoid shopping there. That much aside, it was a tasty treat to bring home after a long day of working in the cold. This 8% Double Dry Hopped Double NEIPA is kicked up a few mellow notches with Medusa, Citra, and El Dorado, which provide a pleasantly tropical profile that hides the alcohol quite well, and considering the can was a few months I was pumped.
A fluffy, creamy NEIPA

Appearance5/5 GreatBeautiful golden orange hue with a fluffy 1.5 inch head that lingers with creamy lacing, low carbonation but not totally flat.
-
Smell4/5 GoodTropical fruit, fresh melon, mango, slight citrus floral notes, most probably from the Citra
-
Taste4/5 GoodFruity, a little sweet. A mixture of fresh mango and orange peels, with a slight hint of warmth in the back of your palate
-
Mouthfeel4/5 GoodCreamy, viscous, but not slick or oily due to the oats. Maybe 50% milkshake but very drinkable.

Overall4/5 GoodReally into this one, thought it was pretty great all around - and to think the can I got was a few months old. It must have been even better with more hop aroma while super fresh. Thankfully it was probably stored cold the entire duration, which my have saved it.
